  • Customer Service commitment to respond to all customer service e-mails and phone calls within two business days 
  • Statements to describe transaction security type 
  • Statements encouraging cardholders to retain a copy of the transaction and the relevant reference numbers

Shipping Policy

It is important that you include a shipping policy for your customers.  Your shipping policy should include the following information:

  • The regions you ship goods to
  • The costs associated with shipping to each region
  • Free shipping, if any is available and how to quality
  • How shipping is calculated on multiple items or any exceptional goods
  • Anticipated processing and delivery times
  • Provide details of any priority shipping options

Returns Policy

Your returns policy should be clearly accessible for your customers, and must be included.  Many portals and payment processing organisations will not provide their services unless you have a Returns Policy in place.

Your returns policy should include the following information:

  • Provide information on what conditions must be met for your customer to receive a refund of the cost of the product, such as time-frames, the condition or the product etc.
  • Provide clear instructions and conditions should the customer’s good be fault
  • State whether or not delivery charges will be refunded, and under what circumstances a delivery charge is refunded
  • State whether there are any restrictions on products which cannot be returned
  • Provide full contact details for your customer services or returns department, including telephone number, email address and postal address
